In Traditional Chinese Medicine, garlic bulb (Da Suan) is used to kill parasites, reduce swelling, expel toxins & warm and reduce stagnation in the Stomach.
Chinese garlic/garlic chives (Xie Bai) is used for chest, flank or upper back pain; difficulty breathing cough, wheezing & a stifling sensation in the chest. It’s also used for damp stagnation in the Large Intestines with dysenteric disorders.
Garlic is a powerful antioxidant with antimicrobial, antiviral, and antibiotic properties. It's also a natural decongestant and here’s a recipe.
